“ Visited the place for a few hours and everything was jus perfect! Delicious food, lovely owners and breathtaking views. You can reach the place by boat from Watamu, but we took a bike and the views around Mida Creek were also amazing. ”

“ What can we say? The word ‘magical’ cannot do justice to this place. The vision that Stefano and Sara had was truly unique to build such a gem hidden in the jungle. The sunset view was stunning and our lodge was like a nature-living experience. Between the breeze of the night, the baboon awakening, and the charm of the outdoor bathtub we had live resourceful and relaxing stay right after the safari. “ Came for dinner, we were picked up by a boat from Lichthaus so we enjoyed a lovely sunset boat ride on the way to dinner. Food was absolutely phenomenal. The ceviche was fresh and flavourful. And the pasta (prawn tagliatelle) was easily the best pasta I’ve had in my life. 10/10. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be back. ”

“ Bucketlistmaterial!! What an amazing place to stay... No picture can show the beauty of this place nor the kindness of the staff and the hosts. We are a little Family with 2 boys of the age of 8 and 10 and we consumed our christmas holidays at Rock and Sea. We slept in an eco bubble and had the privilege waking up with the sound of the water underneath us and the joy of the playing monkeys above us, what a very unique experience! There is only room for 5 couples or families which makes a stay at rock and sea very intimite and exclusive... the resort is very Beautiful and ecological with a nice pool, hottub, private beach and a restaurant with the most Unique view over the Mida Creek... every day, the creek gives you another view on her nature... unbelievable... and the Food is delicious! Stefano ( the host) is one of the kindest, humble and helpful people I have ever met, there to give his guests only the best... although he and his team are there 24/7 to help and service you, you never get the feeling that They are there all the time... you can enjoy your vacation with your Family without having the feeling that there are other guests and staff... The staff This place should be on everyones bucketlist, this is a little Paradise on earth. ”

“ Gorgeous place on mida creek. By far best menu and food in Watamu. Spent a day and loved the salt water pool and jacuzzi, plus the direct access to Matsangoni beach and to the mangroves. Professional and warm welcome and service. Really a must visit in Watamu ”

“ We came here for lunch for Watamu and really enjoyed our experience! I contacted The Rock & Sea on WhatsApp / Instagram and they arranged for a boat to pick us up in Watamu at Lichthaus. We then had a lovely lunch - the views are amazing and the service was great! We also really enjoyed the food - some delicious home made pasta :) afterwards we spent a bit of time around the pool & pool bar which was also lovely! ”
